Poland in Central Europe is a must visit for anyone who enjoys offbeat travel and being one with nature - minus the crowds. After visiting small villages of Poland like - Września, Gniezno and Ostrowo, I am surely looking to go back already and explore more of this charming country.

Portugal boasts of stunning southern beaches in the Algarve region, beautiful forests of Sintra and charming Lisbon. This beautiful country is sure to steal your heart and a must add to your travel bucketlist.

Steeped in tradition and folklore, Hungary is immensely popular for its folk heritage. With amazing all-year weather, Hungary is probably one of the easiest destinations in Europe. Enjoy the grand old-style architecture in Budapest which offers the best Instagram-worthy shots. Hop on a cruise on the Danube and explore the city from a different perspective. When you are done, visit various Hungarian wineries, enjoy the local cuisine, thermal spa or check out the ruin bars.

While Georgia might not be high on the most popular destinations list it, certainly has stunning sceneries and picturesque views that are second to none in Europe. This silk-road country has a rich culture, delicious food and friendly locals that make the travel experience worthwhile. Spend a couple of days in Tbilisi, discover the untouched beauty of Martvili, explore wine capital of Kakheti, visit the city of love Signagi, take a trip to mountain town of Mestia, chase waterfalls in Kazbegi or plan your DIY road trip itinerary and explore various cities and towns of Geogia. Slovakia might not be high on the list of best places to visit in Europe but this small country offers a lot to explore. You can explore the rich folklore, historical monuments, pretty sceneries, and delicious local food. While there are many cities that you can explore like Banska Stiavnica, Kosice, Nitra, Kezmarok, and Trencin, you can also explore Bratislava in a day if you don’t have enough time at hand. You can explore the streets by walking around and having the best local meals and meeting locals. 

If you are looking for a place where you can enjoy some great beaches and sunny weather, Croatia is the destination you should choose. Apart from the wonderful climate, Croatia also offers some excellent food, beautiful cities, historic landmarks and monuments, and hundreds of islands. If you are a nature lover, you can explore the stunning geography in Plitvicka Jezera National Park where you can go hiking and camping or simply chase waterfalls. You can also explore the coastline by planning a cruise holiday while you are in Croatia as well.

With glorious landscapes, awesome Roman architecture, rich history, vibrant culture, and insanely popular and delicious cuisine, Italy is a destination that offers a bang-for-the-buck experience. With plenty of cities and towns to explore a two-week itinerary seems like a great idea while exploring Italy. While Rome has always been among the top cities to visit, you can also take time to explore Florence, and Venice and enjoy the stunning coast of Amalfi. 

Speaking of The Netherlands, the first things that come to our mind are those charming windmills and gorgeous canals which are an indispensable part of the country's geography, history, and culture. Of course, Amsterdam is the best place to explore while you are in The Netherlands and you can certainly explore Amsterdam on a budget. Also, while you are here you can enjoy the colorful Rotterdam Summer Festival which offers a Brazil-like street carnival experience. 

With plenty of castles and ancient architecture, the Czech Republic instantly takes you back into the yesteryears. Packed with historical buildings and gorgeous natural landscapes, the Czech Republic is ideal for history lovers and adventurers. Explore Prague on foot, visit various castles and museums, and try local cuisine at various local restaurants and cafes. Head out into the mountains and get your dose of adventure in Hradec Kralove. With excellent connectivity, Germany is probably one of the most visited countries in the world. Explore the elusive castles, and medieval architecture, dive into its history, and learn more about local culture through its amazingly delicious food. Spend a couple of days in Berlin exploring the city on foot, try out the delicious local cuisine, go on a street art tour, and meet the locals. Visit Hamburg on a weekend to explore more or just relax and unwind. 

Straddling Asia and Europe, Turkey has always been a stop for traders, merchants and kings and emperors. Today, nonetheless, Turkey is an iconic destination that provides breathtaking scenery, exquisite architecture, fascinating history, delicious cuisine, stunning coastline and beaches, among other things. You can hike Mount Chimaera, enjoy the local street food, walk across the city, buy souvenirs or ferry across the Aegean Sea to explore this beautiful country. With its magnificent culture, art, architecture and geographical size, Russia is a country that never ceases to surprise. If you are an art, music or sports lover, Russia is one of the best places on the planet that you should visit. While the sheer size of this country would demand plenty of days to explore it well, even if you are on a short trip you can create an itinerary for a one-day trip to Moscow to help you optimize your trip. Also, you can explore St Petersburg using the prettiest metro stations.  

While most people prefer to explore London, there’s more to the United Kingdom than you can imagine. Hence, it is always advisable that you plan your trip to ensure that you know how to holiday in the UK. This would allow you to optimize the time you have and explore multiple destinations in a short time. You can always rent a car and tour the UK in a car to explore more places and to keep the cost down. You can head to far-off places like Robin Hood Bay on the North Sea coast and explore other parts of the country. 

Nestled on the sunny side of the Alps, Slovenia is a tiny country with a big heart. With a diverse culture, friendly locals, spectacular landscapes and delicious food, Slovenia offers the best travel experience in Europe. While exploring the country, Ljubljana street art caught me by surprise. If you are looking for some natural landscapes you can explore Bela Krajina where you can relax, unwind and have some fun adventure activities. On the other hand, if you are working you can always choose Big Berry as your workstation if you plan to work and unwind in the countryside.

With some breathtakingly beautiful architecture and art, mouthwatering cuisine, spectacular beaches and cosmopolitan cities, Spain is among the top party destinations in the world for those looking for fun in Europe. Barcelona ranks high in terms of the number of visitors that come here to explore the architectural wonders in the city. However, when you are done with Barcelona you can still explore Madrid, Seville, Ibiza, Santiago de Compostela and San Sebastian to deep dive into the local cuisine, culture and lifestyle of the Spanish people.

Take a stop in the capital city of Brussels or head further towards Antwerp. Whatever you do, don't skip Tomorrowland if you are into music festivals (or even if not). The Belgian countryside is quite something, so if you get a chance enjoy a road trip across this stunning land.

Switzerland is a dream destination for its picture postcard views. With amazing all-around weather and gorgeous and captivating scenery of the Alps, Switzerland is among the most beautiful countries in the world. While you are here you can capture some of the best landscape shots and once done you can head to small towns for some local cuisine, chocolates and cheese tasting. Switzerland is also popular for watches and cowbells that many people like to buy on their way home. 

France needs no introduction. With some of the most romantic cities like Paris, France offers spectacular landscapes, vibrant culture, grand architecture, and gourmet food and wine that is second to none. If you are visiting Paris for the first time you can plan your trip accordingly. You can explore Paris Disneyland or just hang around with a local. If you are planning to head out of Paris you can explore Vaucluse in the southeast region of France. Similarly, you can explore other cities like the coastal city of Nice, Marseille, Bordeaux, Burgundy and Lyon to get the best French experience.
