One of my favorite wildlife photos from this year is capturing this cute Pond Heron devouring a frog. The best part was the angle with the frog’s legs and silhouette standing out – whilst being slightly camouflaged by the algae in the pond.
Some of the best bird photos are captured whilst waiting to catch a glimpse of the Royal Bengal Tiger. It just so happened that we were waiting at the pink pond in Phato Zone of Corbett for a Tigress. Suddenly I could hear non stop clicks from a fellow photographer’s camera which enticed me to look in the direction where he pointed his lens.
I was so surprised to see this amazing opportunity and picked up my Canon 50x point and shoot to quickly capture this before the heron devoured the frog in one big gulp.
This photo is now enlarged and framed in my jungle home in Ramnagar.
